Start a new tradition with your family and friends!

The tradition of Christmas Crackers is thought to have started in the UK in the mid 1800s. Tubes were filled with paper crowns, corny jokes, and a small trinket, then a "cracker" was added before wrapping. Each place at the table would be set with a Cracker. Before the meal, the guest would take hold of their cracker by one side and someone else would grab the other. They would each pull until the cracker opened with a POP! Everyone would put on their crowns and share their jokes over dinner making for a festive and lighthearted holiday feast!

Since then, the tradition has spread around the world and expanded beyond Christmas. Many people enjoy making Crackers part of their New Year's, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Birthday's, Baby Showers... let's just say, any get-together with family, friends, or co-workers. Winston Bidwell Party Crackers are a great way to put everyone at ease and break the ice ensuring a relaxed and fabulous party.

Not all crackers are created equal. Most will have the basics such as a paper crown and a joke, but most have toss-aways for trinkets. Some don't even have the "cracker" they are named for (what!), and they use toilet paper or paper towel tubes (GROSS! no one wants that on their holiday plate). And because they can crush and dent easily, they come in a crazy amount of packaging that makes them expensive for you and very wasteful for the environment. At Winston Bidwell we knew we could do better.

So, we ditched the questionable cardboard tube and heavy wrapping paper - instead, we use stiffened cotton fabric and tissue paper. This keeps them light weight, flexible, and resistant to denting and crushing. Which means we can use LESS packaging and waste, and they will still look great when they get to you!

We then filled them with fun and thoughtfulness - of course we put in the paper crown and family friendly jokes but added noisemakers and a handmade gift (choose between Wine Charms, Key Chains, or Family Fun Novelties). Your guests will be delighted!

AND...ONE special cracker will contain a Token. You might choose to have a door prize for the lucky person who finds it, or maybe they get a special seat, start the buffet line, go first in a game, or perhaps everyone just cheers and congratulates their luck! It can be as grand or relaxed as you like,
